Lesley Giles Bride is not like other bridal shops

       From the moment you step into the atelier, you will feel the difference.  Enjoy the experience of buying and fitting your wedding dress in the private luxury of Lesley’s converted schoolhouse.

       Appointments are required to try on sample gowns but don't let that frighten you. There is no charge and you will never feel pressured to buy during your first visit.  If you are shy, why don't you just drop in for a look around during "Open House" which takes place periodically and is announced on the 'events' page of this website.

       Lesley has over 22 years of experience designing, cutting and sewing wedding dresses and custom making them to suit individual brides.   She has dressed hundreds of happy brides and considers each and every one to be an honour.

Made in Canada

       No need to worry about whether your dress will arrive in time.  It’s made right here in Canada.  We are happy and proud to say that nearly all of the goods offered for sale at Lesley Giles Bride are made in Canada. Custom wedding dresses as well as ready-to-wear collections are all made in Canada.

No need to guess your size

       No need to guess the size months before your wedding.  Choose custom sizing and the price of your gown includes the making of a test pattern and custom fitting.

Eco-friendly and fair trade materials

       Natural fabrics aren't just beautiful; they're comfortable and better for the environment too.  Lesley designs exclusively in natural fibre materials: gorgeous silk shantungs, silk chiffon, silk satin and more.

Coming soon, we are excited to offer a new eco-friendly, organic silk from Thailand.  It's hand loomed and finished with natural dyes..and even better, all the profits from the sale of this silk textile go to the small village where it is produced.
